Step 1

Register your Daikin Altherma heat pump on StandByMe

When your installer registered your Heat Pump on StandByMe, you’ll receive an email with a commissioning code and the request to register as a user (if you're a new customer).

Please follow the instructions in the email and don’t forget to check your spam.

If you did not receive this mail, please visit https://standbyme.daikin.co.uk/en/?gigyaConfirmation=0 and click on ‘Register your Daikin product’ under ‘Are you a private user?’ After this, you can choose to enter the commissioning code (which you should have received from the installer) or to browse the different products to find yours.

Then you will be asked to enter and confirm your address and contact information. Now you can see your installations, warranty packages etc. on your account tab.

FAQ

How will Daikin treat my personal data?

Don’t worry. Daikin will treat your private data with utmost care. You can find all details about our privacy policy on https://www.daikin.eu/en_us/data-protection-policy.html

Can I delete my account at any time?

Of course we will be sorry to see you go, but nevertheless you’re always free to delete your account.

What shall I do in case I move?

You need to ask your current Service Partner or a Daikin representative to unlink your account from the installation if it is still on the property where you previously resided. Please include the new owner's contact email, first name, and last name. A contract for an extended warranty would expire, but the unit would still apply for the standard warranty. After that, the new owner can sign up for the new extended warranty plan.

Step 2

Activate the UP package on StandByMe

Congratulations, your account has been successfully created in StandByMe! Next, login to your StandByMe account and click on "View unit" (next to your installation). If you scroll down, you will see "Get a pack for your unit". There you have to look for the UP package and order the package.

FAQ

Why do I have to add the UP package?

The UP package is a service which is added to your heat pump installation. Therefore it needs to be added to your account to access the UP series.

Will I subscribe to a paid service when activating the UP package?

Once you log into StandByMe, you will see all the packages available for your installation. The UP package is a paid package but comes with a free trial period, so you can familiarize yourself with the benefits of this package before deciding to pay for it.

How can I deactivate the UP-package?

The package can be stopped at any time. This can be done through your account on StandByMe.

Will my Daikin Altherma still work when I deactivate my UP-package?

Sure. In the unlikely event of connectivity issues or internet outage, your Daikin Altherma Heat Pump will continue to work. Temperature control is possible through the Madoka roomstat or the Onecta app. The same holds if you deactivate the UP package yourself.

Step 3

Almost ready to go

Just one more step to go! Please download the Onecta app to your smartphone. Once the app has been downloaded, you can login with your StandByMe credentials.
